Projecting the Conservancy’s twenty years of success into the coming decade indicates that volunteers alone are unlikely to be able to sustain such success in the future without dedicated professional assistance. Consequently, the Board of Trustees set a goal for enlarging the Conservancy’s assets not only to secure stable funding to continue implementation of its mission but also to secure a stable financial base to support an executive director.
