Bringing a conservation easement to completion is a complex task and oftentimes involves incurring substantial expenses.  From title searches to surveys to retaining legal counsel to guide us along the way, protecting property can be an expensive endeavor.  The Conservation Easement Acquisition Fund was established to help cover these costs and others, where appropriate, which enables the Conservancy to protect more acreage in Knox County.

If you would like to assist the Conservancy in reaching more of the lands and waters of the place we call home, please visit the Knox County Foundation through this link to donate to our Conservation Easement Acquisition Fund.

Or, if you prefer, you can send a donation in the form of a check to:

Post Office Box 291, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.

Please write “Conservation Easement Acquisition Fund” on the memo line of your check.  All gifts and donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
